This goes with the Rosendale public library as a pretty good Rondout valley library in an awesome old stone building. The librarians are usually pretty cool, but I have encountered and heard of a couple terrible ones here.
Helpful staff and a place you can get free internet 24h in town. In the summer they have a table out back even when they are closed where you can plug in your laptop and surf.
